I would like to cordially invite you to participate in the 91st Annual Meeting of the Deutsche Physiologische Gesellschaft, which will be held March 22-25, 2012 in the wonderful city of Dresden.
The scientific programme will include plenary lectures and symposia addressing hot topics and the state of the art of rapidly growing research areas. There will also be oral and poster sessions designed to give attendees a broad overview of recent progress in physiology. Early submission of abstracts to be included in the programme is encouraged, but a call will be announced in October 2011. We particularly hope to attract young scientists and doctoral fellows by offering them special opportunities at the meeting. Commercial exhibition will be on display at the venue throughout the event.
The conference venue will be the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) and the Medical Theoretical Center (MTZ) of the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus at TU Dresden, located close to the Elbe River between the Blasewitz and Johannstadt sections of Dresden.
Congress registration and abstract submission will be handled entirely online.
Dresden is a city with a particularly rich arts and science heritage. So, come and enjoy four days of excellent science in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
I sincerely hope to welcome you to Dresden in spring 2012.
Andreas Deussen
President of the 91st Annual Meeting of the DPG
