On behalf of the Regensburg University Institute of Physiology, it is my pleasure to invite you to the upcoming 90th Annual Meeting of the German Physiological Society (DPG) to be held in Regensburg from March 26 to 29, 2011.
The Congress will be an international meeting with English being the official conference language. We plan to have several international joint symposia, with the British Physiological Society, the Scandinavian Society and the Swiss Society of Physiology and we will conduct a guest symposium of the German Society of Nephrology (DGfN). The program will include two full day presymposia, five key note lectures, ten symposia as well as several oral and poster sessions. The program will cover the whole field of modern physiology. It is a particular interest of the Meeting to foster interaction between different fields of physiology, between young and established investigators and between the DPG and foreign societies.
The scientific program will be accompanied by an attractive social program. We believe that the unique contrast between the medieval city of Regensburg with its longstanding history and the modern campus of the university, where the Congress is going to take place, will provide an inspiring and prosperous atmosphere for a successful meeting.
Please register for the meeting - we are looking forward to welcoming you in Regensburg in 2011!
